ROYALTON -- The Town of Royalton is accepting applications from town residents for the position of tax collector.
The $6,200 annual position carries a one-year appointment beginning Jan. 1. Candidates would be required to be willing to run for the elected position in November, 2016 "to complete the term of the previous collector."
The tax collector is required to work three full days a week in the month of January, February and March. Work is also required in April and December.
Interested candidates are asked to send a resume to Town of Royalton, Attention: Supervisor Jennifer Bieber, 5316 Royalton Center Road, Middleport, NY 14105 by Oct. 19.
