HARTLAND -- An early morning fire in the 7300 block of Ridge Road resulted in massive smoke damage to the home but no injuries, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
A female resident of the home called 911 at approximately 6:45 a.m. to report the fire. NCSO dispatch advised the woman to get everyone out of the house and await emergency responders.
Upon their arrival, the fire was reportedly contained to the basement area, however smoke damage was caused throughout the single family residence, according to NCSO.
All of the homes residents -- including pets -- escaped unharmed.
No estimate of damage is available. Niagara County Origin and Cause is investigating the fire.
