Freezing temperatures over the weekend will likely end the growing season in East Niagara, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather service put out an alert this morning, warning of freezing temperatures Saturday night and again Sunday.
The freezing temperatures bring with the the likelihood of snow showers, although temperatures will be back into the 60s by mid-week.
