The brothers Andrew and Ryan Logar had their hands in all six of the Lockport Express goals against the Maine Wild this afternoon in  Tyngsboro, Mass., the site of the first NA3EHL showcase of the season.

The Express had been 0-5 on the power play when Andrew Logar fed Devin Kasperek the puck, which Kasperek buried with 2:08 to go in regulation, putting the Express up 5-4. Kasperek had just stepped out of the penalty box 30 seconds earlier where he spent 2 minutes for a kneeing call. An empty netter by Ryan Logar with 12 seconds to go sealed the deal.

Penalties was again an issue for the Express, with the team getting 20 minutes worth of calls on six infractions. Maine scored on two of their five power plays.

It was a back-and-forth match from the onset. Lockport started the scoring at 4:33 of the of the first period. Dylan Jenkins netted the goal, assisted by Andrew Logar. Maine tied the game at 10:24 on a Matt Jerome power play goal assisted by Noel Fischer.

Andrew Logar netted his own goal at 7:08 of the second period, assisted by Jenkins. Then Fischer grabbed his own goal at 10:46, assisted by Chris King.

To start the third, Fischer scored again -- on the power play -- at 1:29 of the third period. Zach Gagne and Jordy Knoren assisted. At 5:15, Fischer grabbed the hat trick, assisted by Jerome. Down 4-2, Ryan Logar notched his first point of the game, an unassisted goal at 10:52. Less than 30 seconds later, he got his second when he fed Mark Friol for the tying goal. Then came Kasperek's power play goal from Andrew at 17:52 before Ryan Logar's second goal of the game from Friol at 19:48.

The Express, now 6-4-1, play again on Sunday. They play Northeast Generals at 9:20 a.m.
