Dolores Blonkowski Dubaj, matriarch of 5 generations passed away October 16th, 2015.
She was born March 14th, 1931 in Lockport, NY, the daughter of William and Stella Stefanowski Blonkowski. Dolores attended Design School and was a talented seamstress making clothes for her three daughters and then some; she also loved her flower gardens, walking, bird watching and knitting, beading but most of all family was Dolores’s life and everything revolved around the Family.
Dolores was the wife of the late Adam L. Dubaj who passed away June 13, 2003; dear mother of Marie Nunnari of Fairport, NY, Diane (Dallas Ward) Yerdon and Lynn (Mont) Miller; loving grandmother of Angela Hanczarowski, Michelle (Jonathan) Price, Stephanie (Manar) Alnuaimi, Brian Crow, Eileen Terdon and Louise Miller; great grandmother of Timothy Leising, Andrew Alnuaimiand twins Hanna and Hailie Skates; great-great grandmother of Edith and Emma Price and great-great-great grandmother of Addison Leising. Dolores was the sister of Stanley Blonkowski, Loraine (Edward ) Sherman and the late Frances Sahr, Lota Biernacki, Dorothy Blonkowski, Helen Dubai, Jean Kowalski and Mary Nowak; she is also survived by her dear friend and beau Harold Seeloff; sister in law Florence Snyder and her daughter Grace and Ron Bilby; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday, October 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street Lockport, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 20th at 10am in St. John the Baptist Church 168 Chestnut St. Lockport.
