A small amount of marijuana and $10,000 cash was confiscated from a Buffalo man Monday afternoon.

According to Lockport police, patrol responded to a reported fight on Allen Street at approximately 3:50 p.m. When they arrived, two men got into a car, leaving the scene. Two other men told patrol that the men that had left had drugs and guns.

When patrol caught up with the car, they found
Willie D. Brown, 24, 32 N. Central Ave., Buffalo, driving it. The other man, who Brown said he didn't know, was found with a small amount of marijuana on him, and a bag of pot was found in the car, along with about $10,000 in cash.

Brown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. While he was being searched for booking, patrol also found a small bag suspected crack cocaine in his pants.

The currency and drugs were confiscated. The vehicle was towed, and Brown was additionally charged with fifth-degree unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was to be in City Court on Tuesday.
