OLCOTT — A West Lake Road man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that a window on the back of his home was damaged.
The man told patrol that the double-paned bay window appeared to have been shot. The window had broken but not shattered. The complainant said he believed the window to be worth around $1,600.
The man said the incident occurred sometime between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday and suggested it may have been hunters in the fields behind his house that shot a stray bullet.
