Phyllis Helen Burch (Helwig), age 89, entered into rest on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Facility in Lockport.

Born March 10, 1926 in Clarence, Phyllis is the daughter of the late Rollin and Helen (Miller) Helwig.

She had worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport, retiring in 1985.  Phyllis enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the casino, wintering in Florida, all animals and spending time with her family.

Surviving Phyllis are her children:  Paul (Beverly) Nayman of Middleport, Rollin (Sue) Arnold of Lockport, Paula (Gary) Post of California, Linda (James) Chutko of Gasport, and Rose Marie (Ralph) Tomasov of Barker; step daughters:  Vivian (Dick) Raduns of Middleport and Veronica (Roger) Bedford of Gasport; sister:  Caroline (James) Bartram; brother-in-law:  Thomas Depointe; 24 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Phyllis was preceded in death by husbands:  Harold Arnold (1967) and Rayburn Burch (2008); a son, Harold Arnold; siblings: Carol Depointe, Franklin Miller and Donald Helwig; and a granddaughter, Renee Arnold.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 4 pm until 7 pm.  A memorial service will be held from the funeral home immediately following at 7:00 pm with the Reverend Rodney Klinzing officiating.  Inurnment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial appreciated to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY   14094.
