ENP STAFF REPORTS

APPLETON — Acrylic artist Joanne Sloan has returned to Marjim Manor with her latest artwork.
It will be on display for the month of September. Born and raised in the Riverside section of Buffalo, Slean worked and resided in Buffalo most of her life. She finds her summer inspiration here, painting local landmarks in distinctively playful style. With a preference for painting plein air (outdoors) and from real life, she creates bright, lively acrylic paintings. Many of them focus on area homes, gardens, water, landscapes, flowers and even the Buffalo grain elevators.
The winery is offering visitors the opportunity to win one of Sloan's classic pieces, Red Chair.
The winery is open daily from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Sundays from noon until 6 p.m. For more information check www.MarjimManor.com or call 778-7001.
