MIDDLEPORT — A 40-year-old Lockport man was charged Wednesday of taking payment for a contracting job and never doing the job.
Vincent Brege of Affordable Contracting was arrested and arraigned on charges of felony grand larceny. According to New York State Police, he took a $3,000 down payment in January to remodel a bathroom but never began the work or refunded the money.
He was processed in the Town of Lockport and released on his own recognizance. He was scheduled to appear in the Town of Royalton Court today.
