Lauri D. Belliveau passed away September 2, 2015 in Briody Health Care Facility.

Born in Waltham, MA on March 21, 1925 he was the son of Lucien and Marie (Pellerin) Belliveau. He served in the US Navy from 1942 to 1946 during WW II earning the Victory Medal and the European, African M.E., 1 Star. Lauri was an insurance salesman for Met Life Insurance Co. in Lockport for 30 years. Upon his retirement he opened Maria’s Pizza Shop. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Budnack) Belliveau in October of 2000 and his by his son Mark Belliveau.

Lauri is survived by his children Dan Belliveau, Steve Belliveau, Paul Belliveau, Jamie Belliveau, Judy (Joe) Lubera, Joyce Barnett, Denise Knapp, and Maria DePalma; grandfather of 20 and great grandfather of 10; brother of Albert (Jane) Belliveau, Hank (Mary Jane) Belliveau, and Herve (Diane) Belliveau; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Sept. 12th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment was in Cold Springs Cemetery.
