Henry E. Visger passed away September 17, 2015 in Buffalo General Medical Center.
Born in Detroit, MI on November 3, 1937 he was the son of Dr. Edmund E. and Ora (Ellis) Visger. Henry earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Michigan State, class of 1962. He worked in purchasing at Harrison radiator for 27 years retiring in 1992. Before working at Harrison Radiator, Henry taught for three years in the Niagara Wheatfield School District. He was a Little League Coach, Scout master for the Boy Scouts, was on the National Ski Patrol at Holimont for over 30 years, member and board member for the Tuscarora Yacht Club. Henry enjoyed skiing, sailing, fishing and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and four grandchildren.
Henry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Roberta (Shutes) Visger of Lockport; father of Jeffrey E. (Mary) Visger of Canyon Lake, CA, Douglas E. (Christina) Visger of Lockport and predeceased by his precious daughter, Victoria Lynn Visger; Grandfather of Michael Jeffrey Visger, Carly Victoria Visger, Abigail Elizabeth Visger, and Emma Victoria Visger; brother of Mary Ann (Joseph) Donnelly of Cape Coral, FL; Uncle to special nephews and niece, Rob Kibler, David Kibler, Liz Kuczka, and Rich Kibler.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, September 19th from 6-8 PM and Sunday, September 20th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 21st at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery.
