ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
The Lockport Express hope to welcome the New York Aviators to Cornerstone CFCU Arena tonight with a sea of blue and gold — Lockport School District colors.
Students who show up to the 7:30 p.m. game in Lockport colors will be admitted for just $2.
Also this weekend, the Express will honor the military on Saturday with a free companion ticket to to the game against Jersey Shore to any member of the armed forces, and the team will be collecting non-perishable food at Saturday's game against the Jersey Shore Wildcats.
It's all part of the Express' game-day events they have planned for the season. For the full lineup, click the link below.
Both New York and Jersey Shore come into Lockport undefeated. The Express, meanwhile, has a 3-2 record, recording all three wins on the road.
This weekend's games — and all Lockport Express home games — will be broadcast live on East Niagara Post. Howie Balaban will do the play-by-play. He will be joined tonight and Saturday by Craig Bacon. George Root will do color commentary for Sunday's game.
East Niagara Post is still accepting sponsors for the hockey broadcasts. Single game sponsorship is $20 ― or $350 for the entire regular season. Pre- and post-game show, intermission, and other sponsorships are also available. Email advertising@eastniagarapost.com or call 795-2727 for details.
