TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Lockport man and a Tonawanda woman were charged with theft after Walmart said the pair stole Xbox wireless video game controllers from the store.
According to New York State Police, Walmart Lost Prevention was alerted of empty boxes located in the store from four Xbox wireless video game controllers on Tuesday. The manufacture of the controllers were contacted and was able to pinpoint the address of where the controllers were being used.
Subsequently, Troopers arrested 22-year-old Justin E. Domescek and 26-year-old Lindsay T. Shaffer, charging the pair with petit larceny. Surveillance video had confirmed both exited the store without paying for the items, which had a total estimated value of $219.00.
