TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 34-year-old Lockport woman is charged with four counts of falsifying business records, forgery and petit larceny after police say fudged transactions at work and kept the money from the fake deals.
According to New York State Police, Stacey R. Heschke falsified the signature of the manager at Value Home Center on at least four merchandise return transactions and kept the cash, totaling over $600.
She was arraigned in the Town of Lockport and remanded to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. She is scheduled to re-appear in court on Wednesday.
