TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 45-year-old Lockport man was charged with DWI Sunday after police say he was found to have a .17 percent blood alcohol content.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Dan Bower, 7789 Moyer Road, was seen making a left turn onto Dysinger Road from Beattie Avenue without stopping for the red signal at the intersection around 1:37 a.m.
When patrol stopped him, he had admitted to drinking alcohol then failed field sobriety tests.
He was taken to NCSO Jail and held on $250 bail. He is slated to appear in Town of Lockport Court today.
