MIDDLEPORT — Dynamites Travel Baseball will hold 2016 team tryouts from 5:30 - 7 p.m. Sunday at the Hartland Town Park Fields in Gasport. The team also held tryouts this past Saturday.

The 11U Dynamites team will participate in WNY Boys of Summer League, Clarence Sunday Travel League and 5-7 tournaments during the season.  Off-season workouts begin in late November or early December and will consist of conditioning, baseball game knowledge, skill development and education on nutrition for performance. Preseason workouts will continue to build upon offseason while scrimmaging local teams.

In its second full year as a travel team, the Dynamites have continued to build upon success of the previous year by moving to top “A” level competition. In two years, the team boasts a record of 64 wins and 18 losses with this year playing in 50 plus games and finishing the season with 44 wins. The Dynamites achieved two championships titles, a runner-up tournament title and two semi-final tournament appearances.
Unfortunately, rain shortened two tournaments for the Dynamites in which they were undefeated in pool play.
Dynamites Travel Baseball is a competitive travel team committed to teaching the game of baseball and developing each player individually while promoting team play and enhancement of good sportsmanship. The team accepts players from any region as it does not have boundary restrictions.
