This Saturday will kick off the first Lockport Community Market of the season.

The Lockport Community Market will run each Saturday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. for 14 weeks thru October 3rd and is located on Historic Canal Street in downtown Lockport.

This family-friendly, open-air market features live entertainment, activities and demonstrations, and a multitude of vendors each week offering fresh produce, meat, baked goods, local wine, jewelry, unique gifts, and much more.  EBT/SNAP (food stamps) for all food stamp eligible products will be accepted by participating vendors.  

Vendors will vary from week to week with new vendors still being accepted each week as space allows. To apply to be a vendor, contact Heather Peck at 434-0212, or visit www.LockportCommunityMarket.com.   Vendors confirmed thus far include:

  • 1st Presbyterian Church: Water/ pop 
  • Angels of Spiritual Guidance: Psychic crayon readings

Live entertainment can be found each week in the Canal Street gazebo, and activties for children and adults will be conducted throughout the season. The Lockport Community Market will also be featuring free Yoga classes before the Market opens each Saturday during July and August. Classes will be offered each from 7-8 a.m. at the Canal Street gazebo. Free, easy and outdoors - enjoy reaching, bending, stretching, and breathing. No previous experience needed. All ages, levels, and abilities welcome. Participants are asked to bring a mat, blanket or towel and a water bottle.  No pre-registration is necessary; participants are encouraged to just show up to class.  For questions, contact Rebecca Strong directly at 720-366-7480.
