A meet-and-greet is planned with and for local authors from 6-10 p.m. June 13 at Lock 34.
The meet-and-greet is intended for writers, authors, bloggers and reader alike. Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple and available online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1429241. Ticket price covers food, a period of open bar and some "bookmark swag goodies," according to the event planners. Tickets are available through Friday.
There will be a basket raffle and 50/50 during the event with proceeds being donated to Literacy New York, a non-profit company that tutors adults who can not read. Basket donations are still being accepted.
