BATAVIA — Six students from East Niagara were among the 340 named to the Spring 2015 Dean's List at Genesee Community College. Students honored on the Dean's List have earned a quality point index of 3.50 to 3.74.
Local students honored include:
GCC offers more than 60 degree programs and certificates. With the goal of continuously developing new academic programs that are focused on long-term career success, GCC's newest degree is Food Processing Technology, AAS. Anyone interested in this fast-growing industry offering thousands of well-paid, local positions, is encouraged to apply for the full scholarship to attend the first course, FPT 101 for the fall 2015 semester. GCC is accessible through seven campus locations and its online learning program. College housing is available at College Village, just a three minute walk from the Batavia Campus.
