The Lockport Express will open the 2015-2016 season at home against the Roc City Royals on Sept. 11.

The team's entire 44-game season was announced this afternoon by the NA3EHL — as were the schedules for the league's 12 other teams.

The Express, which placed second in the NA3EHL's Western Division in the 2014-2015 season, will have some new foes to face off against this year. The league added three new teams for the upcoming season: New York Aviators, Northeast Generals and Skyland Kings. While Lockport's Junior A team will only play the Kings and Generals once each, they will face off against the Aviators eight times.

For the second straight year, Lockport will host an NA3EHL showcase in the spring. The four-day showcase will feature 20 games played between Jan. 28 and Jan. 31. The Express will play a game each day of the tournament.

Lockport Express GM and Head Coach Frank Vecchio said that season tickets will be on sale soon.
