The Erie Canalway National Corridor and the New York State Canal Corp. are holding a photo contest.
The contest, which asks professional and amateur photographers alike to submit photos of their favorite places, views and activities on the Erie, Cayuga, Seneca, Oswego and Champlain canals, has several different categories with winners being featured in the 2016 Erie Canalway Calendar.
Categories include: On the Water, Along the Trail, Canal Communities, and Classic Canal.
Deadline for submissions is Aug. 28.
Contest rules and entry forms are available on the Canalway website.
