TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 28-year-old Lockport man stands accused of stealing two power drills from Walmart.
According to New York State Police, Jason Stout was charged with petit larceny for the theft from the South Transit Road store on May 19. Walmart reported the incident in which a male, later identified as Stout, came into the store and left without paying for two power drills worth approximately $190. Troopers were able to locate Stout and arrested him.
Stout was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Lockport Court on Thursday. Investigation revealed Stout was wanted by Amherst PD for two warrants and was transported to answer to the charges.
