Applications are now being accepted for openings on the Kenan Center’s summer recreation staff.
The summer program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday for six weeks. Geared to children ages 7-15, the program begins July 13 and concludes Aug. 21.
Staff will work approximately 30-40 hours week. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma, experience working with children, and a background in sports and recreation or arts and crafts.
Applications are available at the Kenan Center Arena Office, 195 Beattie Ave, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Applications must be returned to the arena office in person or by mail. Resumes detailing past experience are welcome and can be included with the application. The deadline for applying is May 15.
