ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
In hopes of having the biggest, best parade ever in the 150-year history of the City of Lockport, the Lockport Sesquicentennial Celebration Committee is putting out a call for more participants.
Any service group, organization or business can participate in the Independence Day parade, which will take place at 6 p.m. July 3, traveling Locust Street from Lockport High School north to Main Street.
Parade participants with the most creative, patriotic, and historic floats will be recognized.
A list or rules and participation form is available at Lockport150.com. The form should be filled out and returned to Brandy Martucci, confidential secretary to Mayor McCaffrey, by June 1. Visit Lockport150.com or contact Martucci at 439-6665 with any questions.
