Dora Juanita (Conklin) Wambold, age 89, went home to Jesus April 28, 2015. 

She was born October 13, 1925 in Hammondsport, NY to Dorr and Bessie (Howard) Conklin, the youngest of eight children. She graduated from Hammondsport Central School in 1943 and while employed by Mercury Aircraft, she married the love of her live, Clark L. Wambold, August 8, 1946. She greatly loved her family and would do anything to help them, regardless of the sacrifice. Besides her family, she was actively involved in Church and Eastern Stars. 

Dora is survived by her daughters, Juanita (Jeff) Earl and Amy (Joe) Harris; grandchildren, Jonathan (Jennifer) Plail, Tara (Darius) Atkins, Star (Mario) Hentz, and Tony Wambold; 9 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

The Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:30, May 30, 2015 at Christ Community Church, 140 Genesee St., Lockport, NY with the internment in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bath, NY at 5:30. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Christ Community Church.
