TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 47-year-old Woodlands Drive woman was charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop Wednesday evening.
According to a report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Kathy Ann Outten, 1337 Willowbrook Drive., was found with a bag of suspected marijuana in the center console of her vehicle.
"When patrol brought the suspected marihuana back to NCSO Car 99 Outten began to have panic attack and was not responding to patrol," the report said. "Due to this medical situation, Rapids Fire Department responded to the scene. Outten began to respond to patrol's question and stated she had medical problems."
She signed off against further medical treatment and was taken to Niagara County Jail, where she was held on $250 bail on the charge of unlawful possession of marijuana. She is due in Town of Lockport Court on Tuesday.
