MIDDLEPORT — With only about 400 drive-in theaters still in existence in the entire United States, East Niagara is fortunate to have two of them right here.
And the second one opens for the season this weekend.
Sunset Drive-In, 9950 Telegraph Road, will open for the season Friday with a Screen 1 showing of Fast and Furious 7 at 8 p.m., followed by American Sniper at 10:30 p.m. The theater's other two screens will open in the near future.
