BUFFALO — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled forward Tim Schaller from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Schaller (6’2”, 206 lbs., 11/16/90) joins the team for his sixth recall of the 2014-15 season after making his NHL debut on Nov. 29 in Montreal. He has two points (1+1) in 16 NHL games. With Rochester this season, Schaller ranks second on the team with 41 points (15+26) through 59 games played.
The Merrimack, N.H. native signed with the Sabres as a free agent in April 2013.
The Sabres play the Chicago Blackhawks at 7 p.m. at First Niagara Center.
