The Kenan Center is taking applications for a summer Administrative Assistant through the Grigg Lewis Workership program.
The 40-hour week position, lasting for approximately 10-12 weeks with an anticipated start at the end of May, will include clerical work, phones, and mailings as well as research, assisting with events and exhibitions, and various tasks as assigned by the business office manager and executive director. Strong customer service skills and computer aptitude expected, as well as competency in writing and communicating in a professional manner.
It is said to be an ideal position for someone pursuing a career in business or non-profit management as tasks are extremely diverse and will expose the hiree to all aspects of a non-profit multi-arts and recreation center.
Applicants must live in eastern Niagara County and currently be enrolled in college or post-secondary educational institution. Applicants are asked to drop off a resume and cover letter by May 1 to Kenan Center, 433 Locust St, Lockport, NY., ATT: S. Przybyl.
