ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for most of Western New York including all of East Niagara — in effect from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
The weather service calls for sustained 20- to 30-mph winds with gusts of up to 50 mph. Winds of this magnitude may bring down a few large branches and cause isolated power outages. They will also make travel more difficult for high profile vehicles.
Aside from the wind, the weather is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 56.
