TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 31-year-old Wilson man was charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped in the Woodlands Friday night.
Michael C. Kuhlmey, 31, 258 Lake St., Wilson, was seen by Niagara County Sheriff's deputies not stopping at a stop sign at Lockwood and Fernwood drives around 9:52 p.m. According to the arrest report, Kuhlmey went through the intersection at approximately 15 miles per hour.
When Kuhlmey was stopped, he was determined to be intoxicated. He tested positive for alcohol and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, where he was found to have a .09 percent blood alcohol content.
He was held on $250 bail and ordered to appear in Town of Lockport Court on Tuesday.
