GASPORT — A pair of State Street neighbors are facing charges after New York State Police were called to referee an argument.

According to NYSP, Hollie L. Kureczka, 27, and Jackie L. Amsdill, 36, became engaged in a verbal argument Wednesday as Kureczka was shoveling. The argument at one point became physical with the subjects stating that "Amsdill stuck Kureczka several times breaking her glasses" and that "Kureczka struck Amsdill with a shovel."

Kureczka was charged with second-degree harassment. Amsdill was also charged with second-degree harassment, as well as criminal mischief for allegedly breaking Kureczka’s glasses.

Amsdill was arraigned at the Town of Royalton Court and ordered to reappear on March 19. Kureczka received a criminal summons and is to appear in the Town of Royalton court on March 17.
