BUFFALO -- The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled forward Mikhail Grigorenko from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL). The team has also assigned forward Tim Schaller and defenseman Chad Ruhwedel to the Amerks.

Grigorenko (5/16/94, 6'3", 211 lbs.) joins the Sabres for the sixth time this season, having recorded a goal and an assist in 13 NHL games so far this season. In Rochester, Grigorenko has appeared in 40 games in 2014-15 and has tallied 33 points (12+21). In 56 NHL games played with the Sabres through parts of three seasons, he has registered 10 points (4+6).

Drafted by the Sabres in the first round (12th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft, Grigorenko signed an entry-level contract with the club in July 2012.
