BUFFALO — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled forward Mikhail Grigorenko from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Grigorenko (5/16/94, 6'3", 211 lbs) had been with the Sabres for Tuesday's game against the Florida Panthers and was sent back to Rochester only Wednesday. He joins the Sabres for the fifth time this season, having recorded a goal and an assist in 12 NHL games so far this season.
In Rochester, Grigorenko has appeared in 39 games in 2014-15 and has tallied 32 points (11+21). In 55 NHL games played with the Sabres through parts of three seasons, he has registered 10 points (4+6).
Drafted by the Sabres in the first round (12th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft, Grigorenko signed an entry-level contract with the club in July 2012.
