Michael Berhow, 40, and Tina Krenkel, 37, were both charged with second-degree possession of marijuana and unlawful growing of cannabis by an unlicensed person.

Both were arraigned in the Town of Newfane Court by Justice Bruce Barnes and remanded to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail. They are scheduled to appear in the Town of Newfane Court on March 24.
The investigation is continuing with additional charges pending, according to the Sheriff's office.
