ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
The Niagara Arts Guild’s monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Friday will feature Kristina Fekhtman as a guest demonstrator.
Fekhtman was born in Russia, where she lived until 2011. She is a self-taught artist who was influenced by Stina Persson, David Downton and Alphonse Mucha. Her main focus is body, shape and style, having grown up on fashion magazines and having been curious about the fashion world and illustration.
Fekhtman has absorbed the acute attention to the female body and fashion, refining her own visual and conceptual vocabulary using ink and watercolors. She has done several collaborations in the fashion industry that will be published this year.
Refreshments will be served at the meeting, to be held at the Dale Association, 33 Ontario St.
