Merle E. Hedden passed away unexpectedly March 6, 2015.  

Merle was born July 6,1941 in Newfane, NY, he was the son of the late Merle E. Sr. and Joleen Hedden Fenzl. He ran M. Hedden Plumbing and Heating for over 30 years. Merle enjoyed all sports venues including boating, snow skiing having served on the Ski Patrol. He also was a member of the Elks Lodge, was a former member of the Tuscarora Yacht Club and served in the Army Reserve.

Merle is the father of Jason (Amornrat) Hedden of Germantown, MD and the late William Rooney; grandfather of Ayden and Tai Hedden and Felisha Winters.  He is also survived by his sister Patty Swader.
Relatives and friends may call Monday March 9, 2015 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY where funeral services will be held Tuesday March 10,2015 at 11 AM.
