The Kenan Arts Council will host a business lunch at 11:30 a.m. March 10 at the Kenan Center’s Taylor Theater Meeting Room. Bring your own lunch; coffee, tea, and cold drinks will be available.
Lunch will be followed by a program at 12:15 p.m. featuring Margaret Truax, life-long Lockport resident, speaking on the Kenan family.
Truax is the Lockport Historian; she serves on the Architectural and Preservation Committee for the City of Lockport, the Flight of Five Committee of the Lockport Heritage District Corporation, the Niagara County Records Committee, and has served two terms as a Niagara County Legislature. She is currently involved with the Niagara County Historical Society, The Dale Association, The YWCA of Niagara, the Kenan Center, and the Lockport Junior Service League.
The free program will be followed be dessert, coffee or tea, and conversation. The public is invited to join.
