ENP STAFF REPORTS

WRIGHTS CORNERS — A Lockport-Olcott Road man reported to Niagara County Deputies that someone had stolen 12 music CDs from his vehicle — and that someone had left a necklace near his truck, as well.
The man said that on Saturday morning, he found the necklace near his pickup truck that was parked in his driveway. Then on Sunday, he noticed that someone had taken the CDs.
The man said he didn't report the theft immediately because he felt it was his fault for not locking his vehicle at night. A friend advised him to file a report.
The necklace was turned over to patrol who gave him some advice of their own: "always keep his vehicle locked when not in use."
