Sabrina M. Perkins, 24, 240 Niagara St., Upper Apt., was charged around 8:20 p.m. Saturday with second-degree menacing and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. According to the LPD arrest report, Perkins picked up a knife while in a verbal argument with a man and threatened to harm his children, who were in her presence. No injuries were reported. An order of protection was requested by the man on behalf of himself and his children. Perkins is due in City Court on Monday.
Kyle A. Person, 27, 275 Prospect St., Rear Apt., was charged around 1 a.m. Saturday with DWI, disobeying a stop sign and passing a red light. According to LPD, police were dispatched to Genesee Street for a report of an intoxicated driver. When they attempted to pull Person over, he drove through a red light at Walnut and Locust streets. Police eventually stopped him in a parking lot on Washburn Street when he fled his vehicle. He was determined to be intoxicated and charged. He is due in City Court on Monday.
