Muhammed A. Johnson, 25, 157 Cottage St., Apt. 3, was charged around 3:25 p.m. Friday with second-degree obstruction of government administration and resisting arrest. According to the LPD report, Johnson created a disturbance with police while they were conducting an investigation on High Street. He is due in City Court on Monday.

Travis R. Green, 20, 449 Walnut St., Rear Apt. was charged around 10:20 a.m. Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle. According to the LPD arrest report, police had been called to a West Avenue business to investigate a report of a vehicle with front end damage and a male slumped over the steering wheel. When police arrived, they found an unresponsive Green in possession of four hypodermic needles and a bag of marijuana. Green is due in City Court on Monday.

Michael A. McPhee, 29, 4 Walnut St., Apt. 1, was charged around 2:35 a.m. Saturday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. According to the arrest report, McPhee refused to leave a South Street home when asked to. When police arrived, he was found to have a Ruger revolver, cocaine and $2,892 cash. He is slated to be in City Court on Monday.

Tyrone L Ewing, 28, 91 Prospect St., was charged around 7:51 p.m. Friday with third-degree assault. According to the LPD report, Ewing punched a woman in the right eye with a closed fist on Thursday, then slapped her several times in the right arm/shoulder area and spit on her. He is scheduled for City Court on Monday.

Eric A. Ellis, 36, 81 Gabriel Dr., Apt. A, was charged around 5:46 p.m. Friday with second-degree harassment. The LPD arrest report states that Ellis was in a verbal altercation with a woman, which turned physical. He is due in City Court on Monday.
