TOWN OF LOCKPORT — After a month-long investigation, New York State Police arrested Donald M. Shaw, 40 of Lockport Friday on an arrest warrant for petit larceny. The Niagara County Sheriff's Office assisted in the arrest.
Troopers also charged Cindy A. Battistoni, 42 of Akron, for petit larceny on Wednesday.
According to the NYSP report, approximately $80 worth of underwear and DVD’s were taken from Dollar General in Lockport on Feb. 7. Shaw hid stolen items in his pants and Battistoni hide stolen items in her purse, the report said.
Shaw and Battistoni were processed at SP Lockport. Both were arraigned before the Lockport Town Court and committed to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
