Kenneth R. Pfahlert of Lockport passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Buffalo General Hospital.

Mr. Pfahlert was born in Lockport, NY on April 2, 1924 son of the late Edwin and Helen (Baker) Pfahlert and he has lived in Lockport all of his life.

He was employed as a stock chaser at Harrison Radiator Division, GMC for 44 years retiring in l986. He delivered Meals on Wheels for several years and he and his wife, Margaret, had always donated time to the American Red Cross and he enjoyed bowling. He received the Paul Harris Award in 2014.

He was predeceased by his wife Margaret (Posner) Pfahlert in 2007 and by a sister Pauline Dussault and two brothers Edwin Pfahlert Jr., and Frank Pfahlert and a sister-in-law Mabel Pfahlert.

He is survived by his son Terry (Loretta) Pfahlert of Lockport, three grandchildren Aaron (Heather) Pfahlert of N. Carolina, Brandon Pfahlert of Colorado and Sara Anne Moreland of Fredricksburg, Virginia. Also surviving are his eight great-grandchildren Ashlyn Pfahlert, Zachary Pfahlert, Christian Pfahlert, Mary Pfahlert, Trace Carpenter, Seth Carpenter, Terry Moreland and Jason Moreland and two nephews and two nieces.

There will be no prior visitation. Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services Monday at 11:00 AM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport, NY., with the Rev. Duane Priset officiating. Burial will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.

Memorials to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the Pfahlert family.
