A winter weather advisory affecting the entire Niagara Frontier has been issued by the National Weather Service for this afternoon until early Wednesday morning.
According to the weather service, snow accumulation of an inch or less this afternoon and tonight will be followed by ice accumulation of up to a few hundredths of an inch. The end result will be very slippery roads, sidewalks and parking lots.
"Roads may be very slushy and slippery for the Tuesday evening commute," the weather service warns.
