A 42-year-old Middleport man was charged with DWI Saturday on South Transit Street.
According to New York State Police, Richard L. Rogers Jr., was seen crossing over the center line several times while traveling northbound on South Transit Street. Rogers was determined to be intoxicated and transported to SP Lockport where the standardized field sobriety tests were performed, which he failed. He was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.11 percent.
He was charged with moving from the lane unsafely and failure to use designated lane in addition to the DWI. He is due to return to City Court on Monday.
