TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 17-year-old Lockport male was charged Monday with possession of marijuana after State Troopers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.
According to the NYSP report, police had received a report of possible drug activity in the area of Beach Road and Rebecca Drive in the Town of Lockport when they came across the teen. During the interviewing process, Troopers detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and a search revealed approximately 1 gram of marijuana in his front pocket.
The teen was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Lockport Court on Feb. 17.
