Jeffrey S. Popovich, 23, 287 Washington St., was charged around 3:19 a.m. with DWI, failure to keep right, and speeding. According to the LPD arrest report, Popovich had gotten his vehicle stuck in a snow bank. When patrol interviewed him, they determined him to be intoxicated. He is due in City Court on Monday.

Essence E. Hobbs, 22, 101 Spaulding St., Upper Apt., was charged around 12:40 a.m. with disorderly conduct. According to the LPD report, officers were called to Spaulding Street for a report of a disturbance. When they arrived, Hobbs was causing a commotion and refused to stop when police asked her to. She is due in City Court on Monday.

Melissa A. Morello, 23, 97 Ransom St., Apt. A, was charged around 11:30 p.m. Friday with failure to signal and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. according to the LPD report, Morello was stopped for the traffic infraction and found to be driving without a license. She is due in City Court on Monday.

A 17-year-old Monroe Street girl was charged around 1:45 p.m. Friday with second-degree harassment and third-degree assault. According to the LPD report, patrol was at the girl's home investigating an incident between her and another girl in which the accused allegedly struck the other girl. While patrol was there, the teen became belligerent, swearing at patrol, as well as taking a swing at patrol with her firsts and with a metal bookshelf. A TASER was used to subdue the teen, who was then transported to ENH-Lockport, where she was restrained. She is due in City Court on Monday.

Aaron K. Kush, 45, 303 Beattie Ave., was charged around 12:21 a.m. Friday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment. According to the LPD report, Kush held a woman down and refused to allow her to leave. He is due in City Court on Monday.
