CLARENCE — A 31-year-old Lockport man was charged recently with harassment after ignoring New York State Police's warnings to leave the complainant alone.
According to a release by NYSP, Nicholas R. Halker, 31, had been advised to discontinue contact with the Clarence woman but continued to call making threats to cause severe physical harm to her with a weapon.
He was placed under arrest Friday by Troopers and charged with second-degree aggravated harassment. He was arraigned and released at the Town of Clarence Court and was slated to reappear in court today.
