Barker, Newfane and Royalton-Hartland school districts have also decided not to open their doors to students today on account of the brutal cold weather.
The Lockport City School District announced its decision to close today around 9 p.m. Thursday. That meant that DeSales Catholic School would be closed today, as well.
Other local closings include:
- Christian Academy of WNY
- Lockport Meals on Wheels
- Orleans-Niagara BOCES
- Starpoint Central Schools
- Wilson Central Schools
- YMCA School Age Child Care
- YMCA Little Me Playgroup
Items will be added to the list if/as they come in.
